Over two days, teams from five branches and zones gathered in Ankerana, Antananarivo, for the official launch of the 2026 programs of YMCA Madagascar.
This strategic meeting marked the true starting point of the year. It focused on building strong foundations, aligning visions, and reinforcing shared commitments around organizational priorities. The main objective was clear: ensure that all teams operate with the same level of information and a common understanding of the 2026 program directions.
Each strategic axis guiding this year’s actions was carefully presented and openly discussed. Through structured group sessions, participants were able to:
analyze the specific context of each branch,
identify key local challenges,
and adapt strategic orientations to better respond to the needs of young people in their respective areas.
As the team has expanded this year, the meeting also served as an onboarding platform for new staff members. Beyond program discussions, the two-day session created space for connection, mutual understanding, and deeper immersion into the organization’s values and culture.
