As part of World Environment Day, the Green Ambassadors collaborated with CliMates Madagascar and Move Up Madagascar to lead a creative recycling workshop on June 14, 2025, in Antsirabe, aimed at raising awareness and promoting sustainable action.
This event, centered on both education and practical engagement, brought together committed youth, environmental experts, and civil society actors around a common goal: fighting plastic pollution while promoting local recycling initiatives.

The program featured:
A stimulating panel discussion on the challenges of plastic waste management, with a focus on local, sustainable, and replicable solutions
An original exhibition of recycled products, showcasing the creativity and commitment of the partner organizations
Educational games and interactive environmental activities, designed to raise awareness in a fun and engaging way
Hands-on demonstrations and workshops, particularly on how to recycle plastic bottles into useful and decorative objects
This day served as a meaningful space for knowledge-sharing, innovation, and community involvement. It showed that even small-scale efforts can make a real difference in the journey toward a healthier environment.
And this is just the beginning. The event was not only a celebration but also the starting point of a series of planned activities. These initiatives will be guided by action plans focused on raising awareness among companies that produce plastic materials. Environmental education is meant for everyone, including young people, children, and adults.
With the strong commitment of all participants and partners, the hope for a greener future is becoming a shared reality.
