” True inclusion happens when hearts open and hands unite. “
Through their social action at Akany Fasoavana, the young leaders of the Y-French Club from YMCA Moramanga brought this vision to life, turning an ordinary day into a celebration of humanity and connection.
With kindness and respect at the heart of the event, the participants led fun and engaging group activities, including games, singing, and a friendly snack time that encouraged sharing and laughter.
During lunch, they assisted participants and learned valuable lessons from them about patience, courage, and the joy of living. These simple yet powerful moments helped strengthen everyone’s sense of inclusion and belonging.
“Even a single day of games and sharing can have a lasting impact. It brings confidence, self-esteem, and the feeling of being accepted,” shared a member of the Y-French Club.
Beyond the smiles and laughter, this experience turned into a genuine lesson in humanity. It allowed the young leaders to improve their communication skills and better understand how to support people with disabilities, while developing greater awareness of the challenges they face every day.
