At YMCA Madagascar, we believe that learning a new language is more than just acquiring a skill; it is a way to new opportunities, intercultural exchange, and personal growth. Mastery of English not only strengthens communication abilities but also enhances employability and prepares young people to engage confidently in personal and professional life. It is with this vision that we continue to invest in educational activities that empower youth to expand their horizons.
Every Saturday, YMCA Analamanga currently hosts English classes in Manjakaray, another initiative that reflects our commitment to youth development through English learning at this branch. What makes this new program particularly meaningful is that it is led by our young leaders from the S2C Program as Ambassadors. Through their role, they not only guide participants in improving their English skills but also help them understand the values of leadership, service, and peer-to-peer empowerment.
Week after week, participants benefit from interactive learning moments where they can practice the language in a supportive and engaging environment. The steady progress observed demonstrates the impact of youth-led initiatives and highlights the importance of giving young people the space to lead and inspire others.
This new English class remains open to all youth who wish to strengthen their language skills while being part of a community that values learning, leadership, and collaboration.
