After a series of training sessions, health awareness campaigns, and medical check-ups, YMCA Madagascar took a decisive next step last week by providing financial support to 40 vulnerable young entrepreneurs in Antsirabe.
Each participant received a grant of 200,000 Ariary to strengthen their small businesses, whether in street food, bicycle and motorbike repair, or other essential local services.
With this financial support, these young entrepreneurs can now:
Improve their working tools and materials
Increase the quality and output of their services or products
Reach more customers and expand their market
Move closer to sustainable income and business growth
But YMCA Madagascar’s vision goes further. These entrepreneurs will also receive additional materials to help promote their businesses and increase their visibility. In partnership with Espace Médicale Antsirabe, they will soon benefit from free medical check-ups and subscriptions to basic healthcare services ensuring they not only thrive economically but also stay healthy.
At YMCA Madagascar, we believe that empowering youth means more than funding; it’s about building long-term resilience and opportunity.
