Reforestation is more than just planting trees. It is a long-term commitment to preserving biodiversity, restoring ecosystems, and combating climate change. As part of our strategic plan, environmental sustainability remains one of our key priorities.
Our S2C Ambassadors, young leaders dedicated to positive change, actively engage in initiatives that contribute to sustainable development. By participating in reforestation efforts, they help restore forests, raise awareness about environmental protection, and inspire others to take action.
A Collective Effort for a Sustainable Madagascar
On March 21, 2025, the MCC (Ministère de la Communication et de la Culture), in collaboration with the OIV, organized a reforestation event in Mantasoa, near the capital of Madagascar. This year’s theme, “Ny ala, antoky ny rano sy angovo”, which means that the forest presents a guarantee of water and energy, highlighted the crucial role of forests in water conservation and energy sustainability.
Our association was represented by the S2C Cohort-IX Ambassadors, who actively took part in the initiative by planting 400 trees alongside other participants. This effort contributes to land restoration, biodiversity enhancement, and Madagascar’s environmental resilience.
Reforestation aligns with our long-term vision of promoting a healthier environment for future generations. Through such actions, we continue to support Madagascar’s reforestation efforts.
This initiative is a step toward building a greener future, but our work does not stop here. We remain committed to environmental advocacy and look forward to more opportunities to make an impact.
