Every Year, the Africa YMCA, in partnership with Norway YMCA, sends young YMCA members through the all Africa YMCA. During this exchange program called Young Advocates for Changes (YAC), beneficiaries learn new experiences and share their knowledges to others. They are expected to continue this learning and sharing experiences once get back from the exchange. This is called YAC Follow-Up. YMCA Madagascar is part of this Africa YMCA Exchange program and Madagascar YMCA beneficiaries is expected to realize it.

Once back, the three Malagasy former YAC-Participants planned their Follow-Up and started their as soon as possible. They were dispatched through branches and Clubs. Dina is centered in the Carion YMCA branches in which he mainly focused on education and sanitation. Jonathan operates in the YMCA HQ by familiarizing young people about entrepreneurship and English language. As Tsiry is the club leader of the YMCA-Urban_Environment_Club he mainly oriented his follow up on this way by training young people about recycling and rash reducing. Nonetheless, although their activities seem to be different, they all inculcate civism spirit to young people.

Jonathan started his activity the week of February 28th, 2018. During a half day, he led a session about Businesses and the behaviors that a good businessman should have. The session was divided into two part as the first was mainly conducted in Malagasy as the second in English. It was so interesting since all the participants were so enthusiastic and concentrated. The session was followed by a constructive debate. At the end, everyone was able to master some vocabularies, some mindset and some imperatives about entrepreneurship even if all the participants were not involving in business.

Tsiry started his earlier, on middle January and decides to make it with a High School since he is convinced the bases are the key. As all of them, his session contains the YMCA presentation and mission. But especially the roles of the best citizens as so they will become later. Every session he led was a success since he always achieve results. Indeed, even if some of the learners were too young to understanding due to their capacity limitedness, he -with his team- always tried to adapt new method so that they get what he meant. In a nutshell, right now he managed to gather about half hundred people from different classes; the students class-leaders included.

Dina is about to prepare his. He planned to teach English to various students through different localities in the countryside. Languages are still being a barrier for students, even for professional here in Madagascar, and it is even more in remote areas, as where Carion YMCA is operating. Dina comes from these areas so he decides to alleviate this knowledge anomaly. He already talked with some high school-principals and fixed a regulars appointment during which he would teach, in addition to the English language, citizenship and civility.

All the three agreed that the changes will not operate day by day. They realized that the more they enforced it, the less politic went in their favor, but the harder the road was, the better it was to take.
