About YMCA Moramanga
YMCA Moramanga was established to actively contribute to youth empowerment and community development in the region of Alaotra-Mangoro. With a growing and engaged membership of 119 members, including 70% women and 49% men, YMCA Moramanga continues to provide a dynamic space for youth-led and youth-focused initiatives, reinforcing its mission to empower young people and build stronger, more resilient communities.
As part of its initiatives, YMCA Moramanga engages in youth justice, environmental conservation, and disaster risk reduction. It supports young people in conflict with the law by implementing preventive and restorative justice programs. The branch also actively participates in disaster preparedness and response efforts, equipping youth with the skills and knowledge to support their communities in times of crisis.

Our 07 Clubs
At the Youth Power Space Moramanga, we have 7 dynamic clubs, led by youth for youth. Each club provides a space to learn, grow, and make an impact. Let’s discover them together!
Y-English Club
Organizes English conversation sessions, debates, and interactive activities to help members improve their language skills.
Y-French Club
A space to practice French through conversations, debates, and cultural exchanges. Perfect for improving language skills while exploring Francophone culture.
Y-Ventso Club
A club dedicated to sharing and enhancing skills in Malagasy poetry and “Kabary” (public speaking).
Y-Dance Club
A club dedicated to sharing the joy of dance and fostering skills in a fun, supportive environment for all dance enthusiasts and beginners.
Y-Lalàna Club
Creates a welcoming space for young people interested in law, offering debates, knowledge-sharing, and interactive activities for both legal experts or curious minds.
Y-Vazo Club
Explore the world of music through vocal training, instrumental learning, composition, and live performances.
Y-Cooking Club
A club for cooking enthusiasts, dedicated to exploring culinary skills and mastering the art of table setting.
