YMCA Analamanga recently organized an exclusive youth workshop, held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, under the theme: “From Idea to Action – Unlock Your Potential through Personal Initiative.” Led by Zoky Tahina Rajaonarison, Vice-President of YMCA Analamanga and President of PLAMFE Africa, the workshop brought together about 15 young participants, all united by a shared ambition: to learn how to transform ideas into concrete projects and strengthen their leadership skills.
This workshop forms part of YMCA Analamanga’s broader commitment to young people. In particular, it aims to:
Foster initiative and creativity,
Provide practical tools to move from thinking to doing,
Strengthen leadership and project management skills,
And create a vibrant space for connection and exchange.

Throughout the session, participants embarked on a powerful journey marked by genuine exchanges and inspiring stories. As discussions unfolded, they gained valuable insights that encouraged them to dare, to create, and to take meaningful action. Little by little, ideas began to take shape, giving rise to new personal and collective projects. For many, this workshop was more than just an event — it marked a real turning point. It sparked the realization that personal initiative is not simply important; it is a true superpower.
One clear message emerged: “Start where you are, with what you have.” Each small step taken today is a step closer to building a stronger and more confident future.
Through initiatives like this, YMCA Analamanga reaffirms its deep commitment to shaping a generation of young leaders: ready to imagine, act, and drive positive change within their communities.
