RISE Project: Tools for Growth, One Step Closer to Independence

After awareness sessions, training, and financial support already provided, 40 vulnerable young entrepreneurs beneficiaries of the RISE project of YMCA Madagascar received essential equipment to support their businesses at YMCA Antsirabe last week.

The aim is not only to offer financial assistance but also to provide the appropriate tools tailored to each entrepreneur’s field of activity. These resources are designed to ease their daily work, increase productivity, and ultimately improve the quality of their services while expanding their sources of income.

During previous interviews, many of the beneficiaries identified the lack of equipment as the greatest challenge in developing their businesses. With this new support, we hope they will be able to strengthen their activities and gradually grow their enterprises.

Some of the materials provided included:

  • Kitchen equipment, chairs, trays, large containers, buckets, and cooking pots for food-related businesses

  • Screwdrivers, tire pumps, and a variety of repair tools and gadgets for mechanics

  • And many more items, carefully selected to meet each entrepreneur’s specific needs

At the end of the distribution, beneficiaries shared their impressions, many expressing gratitude and excitement, and describing the support as a meaningful step toward growing their businesses.

Through initiatives like this, YMCA Madagascar reaffirms its commitment to empowering young people to be economical independant . The RISE project continues, with more activities underway, stay tuned to discover what’s next.
